Brain and posterior fossa MRI with & without contrast
Technique:T2 and FLAIR axial-T1 and T2 sagittal-T2 coronal,post contrast T1 sequences.
34×37×27mm lobulated enhancing mass in left side CP angle is noted.It has 7.35mm extension in to left IAC and is in favor of an acoustic schwoanoma.
External mass effect on left side pons and middle cerebellar peduncle is noted.
Edema signal in left middle cerebellar peduncle is also noted.
Grey and white matter signal intensity and differentiation appear normal.
Ventricular system appear normal.
No midline structural shift noted.
Basal ganglia have normal signal and appearance.
Sella,suprasellar cistern and cavernous sinus appear normal.
Both CPAs,7th and 8th cranial nerves appear normal.
Visualized portions of orbits appear normal.
Cerebral venous sinuses enhanced normally.
