من دقیق نمی دونم. ولی تا اونجاییکه که در مورد وظایفش اطلاعات گرفتم ظاهرا باید دنبال معادل برای مربی ای بگردید که هم به دانش آموزان مشاوره میده و هم تدریس میکنه

معلم پرورشی یا مربی پرورشی در ایران بیشتر به معنی پرورش تربیتی-اخلاقی است و با معلم مهارت که به معلم فنی و حرفه ای نزدیک تر است تفاوت دارد. به نظرم دقیق ترین و نزدیک ترین معنا میتونه educational instructor یا educational teacher باشه.

Hi rezafaridi. If you refer to معلم پرورشی as "school counsellor", then how do you say "مشاور مدرسه" in English? I'm sure you know these two are pretty different.

Finding the exact distinguishing equivalent for these two requires clear definition of them. I wonder if a position like معلم پرورشی- as it is in Iran- is in English speaking countries too!

As far as I know, they have a class called "life skills" which is somehow similar to what is known in Iran as درس پرورشی

So I think "life skills teacher" is what we're looking for. Have a look please:

Hi brother,

The first thing to cross the mind by "life skills teacher" is disability and disabled students while معلم پرورشی teaches(If anything) to ordinary students. I didn't ever learn a damn thing from my useless معلم پرورشی. So, I guess the teacher was in vain as well as the course. At the end of the day, I would put it this way:

Regardless the existance of such job positon in other countries. To me , we could simply say a developing skill teacher.
