"To live in a fool's paradise" is on on its forms but you can use it as stated as follows:

I'm afraid that Sue's marital happiness is a fool's paradise; 

but it is commonly use with this meaning :

a situation in which someone is happy because they are ignoring a problem or do not realize that it exists (Macmillan dic)

 

but it also means:

a state of being happy for foolish or unfounded reasons (thefreedictionary.com).

Ostensibly, you have an excellent command of English and I am really delighted of that.

This is the matter of "Collocation" and as you probably know, Persian English learners are not strong enough in this case.

We may see ,for instance, the PREFIX "pseudo-" alongside many adjectives, but when it comes to the adjective "Happy"....

Anyway, Thanks for your clarifications and contributions.

In my two-day-membership in this site, your comments have really been heartwarming. My goal of visiting this site was to learn something while calming my nerve from my stressful job that is closely related to the main theme of this site.I believed that it is not as aimless as surfing the net. God knows I did not want to prove myself. Anyhow, the fact that the considerable number of verses have not been replied shows the lack of "creativity", I have just commenced working on one of them that I received a very encouraging comment, in inverted commas.

But our nodding acquaintance was a pleasure. It is ironic that such a collocation made that all fuss. Much ado about nothing.

For sure, I have a nodding acquaintance with this versatile language and no one can claim that they know a lot in this era. We are all learners with rudimentary knowledge.

Heartily, I believe that without talking over different subjects, one can not broaden their knowledge. I do not deem our discussion "ado" or "fuss" since these terms imply milking the ram while it was not like this. 

There is no reign in this Website to preside over.
