سلام بچه ها من پيشنهاد ميدم هركدومتون راهي رو كه مناسب ميدونيد واسه يادگيري انگليسي پيشنهاد بدين .

مثلا به نظر خودم واسه listening فيلم ديدن مفيده ، واسه reading يا writing چت انگليسي يا كتاب خوندن خوبه .

for speaking: listening to songs and memorizing them helps

for writing: you first need to get yourself fully acquainted with grammar

یکی از راههایی رو که من پیشنهاد میکنم این است که اخبار رو به زبانی که به اون تسلط داریم گوش کنیم و بعد اخبار رو به زبانی که داریم یاد میگیریم گوش کنیم.

یا اینکه اول فیلم رو با دقت زیر نویسهاش رو ببینیم و بعد به زبان خارجه.اگه اینجوری کنیم ذهنمان آمادگی حدس زدن یا به خاطر آوردن لغتهای فراموش شده را داره و و میتونیم به راحتی معنی خیل از لغات را حدس بزنیم.

Totally agree with this approach, however sometimes we don't feel like watching the same movie twice, or don't like to ruin the joy of watching the movie by constantly looking at the dictionary. I would say even watching it without understanding it makes you ready and used to the accent and all.

I respect your thoughts on this matter,however I do not really understand the point of watching a movie and not understanding it.

Thanks for the input pdfman. Regarding your answer I would like to refer you back to my post. Watching an English move without understanding it helps getting used to the accent. as well, it is not that by watching alone we dont understand anything, we do, dont we?

This is how children learn new languages, they first watch, and listen.

So if we dont feel like refer to the dictionary over and over again, we should not feel guilty, even watching the movie and understanding just a bit of it is a good start.

The way children, I mean babies, learn a language is quite different from that of an adult because of their brain structure!

But not only do I agree with AghOy Hamsade, but I also  emphasize on his claim. 

It is a fact that when you are watching a media where Sound and Image are mixed to convey a message, YOU as a normal human will realize what is going on little by little! And this fact is not based on my simple experience. Many articles and researches have been conducted in this regarded and this theory is proved!

In fact, watching a movie even without understanding a single word for the first time will be an effective way of learning a language. Because watching for the second time will absolutely make u guess what was the meaning of a single word such as YES.

والا من انگلیسی رو (در حد همین اکابر خودم :دی) از فیلم یاد گرفتم

بدی این روش اینه که تو مکاتبات رسمی حرفی واسه گفتن نداری

از دوستان مطلع پرسیدم گفتن باید کتاب انگلیسی یا مقاله این چیزا رو بخونی + گرامر

خوبیش اینه که

1- کارتو راه میندازه (واسه زندگی و تعامل با خارجه و ..... )

2- با اصطلاحاتشونم آشنا میشی ( بخشی از زندگیشون که تو کتابا و اخبار نیست )

روش شنیداری دیداری بهر حال از دید من بهترین راهه (لااقل برای شروع)

 

بهترین راه هم ایجاد گروه های مباحثه و مخصوصا مختلطه . ( تاکید بر مختلط بودن میکنم چون تفکیک جنسیتی تو زبان انگلیسی خیلی کاربرد داره و مثل فارسی همه جنس ها رو تو و من و او و ما و شما خطاب نمیکنیم )

grammar is very important, it even helps you understand the stuff(words) you never heard of

As a matter of fact, u must have enough input to come up with proper output!

In other words, u must have enough listening and reading to become prepared for speaking and writing. 

I just want to talk about writing. Of course u must be so advance in grammar to write well. But what matters most is that u should be able to use whatever grammar u've learnt in a paragraph. For that u must have  enough input which in this case is grammar and undoubtedly reading practices. So practice reading to come up with writing.

Furthermore, in writing style matters most, which is highly dependent on the type of text, i.e. story, poetry, article, etc. And u will never know how to follow the proper style unless you have read enough.

As a short tip, I have to say using proper metatext is highly helpful. By  metatext, I mean the set phrases you see when u are reading ,e.g. in an article. Some of these metatext can be {e.g. As outlined above, see below, before proceeding further} using such set phrases in your writings esp. your articles makes them more natural and native-like, albeit it is a bit time and energy-consuming to learn!

Another strategy is called KISS and tell which means Keep It Short and Simple. As writing is a kind of communication u must be able to make it understandable which cannot be achieved if u r not simple and sincere. Although I do not think that I have followed this here ;)

but here are some ways, more to improve ur english skills

☻ Listening: listen to music, watch movie

☻ speaking: talk to native ppl also helps listening skill, free discussion classes, online chat rooms

☻ writing: start a blog, write ur diaries, join Chimigan.com

☻ reading: read different books with different genre, paper nd web reading, be snoopy while watching movies,

☻ Culture Skill: study the ppl, by watching movie, read about their culture, live with them if possible, join them on their anniversaries nd parties
