نیت کردن به انگلیسی چی میشه؟

من امسال نیت کردم برم مشهد نذری بدم!

سلام. اگه مقصود گفتن اینه که در دل قصد کرده‌م برم مشهد می‌شه فعل intend به معنای قصد کردن رو به کار برد:

I intend to travel to Mashad this year, and while there, to throw a charity feast. 

یا،

I have promised myself I will go to Mashad this year for the express purpose of distributing food among the poor at my own expense.

 اما نیت ممکنه جنبه‌ی معنوی و آیینی داشته باشه که در این صورت:

I have made a solemn promise (vow) to the Lord to make a pilgrimage to Mashad some time this year, in order not only to visit the holy shrine of Emam Reza but also, God Willing, to feed the poor and the hungry.
