God knows یا God know

سلام دوستان عزیز 

من یه سوالی در انگلیسی دارم که مدتها من رو مشغول خودش کرده.

میخوام بدونم بعد God فعلی که میاد بصورت ساده خواهد بود یا همراه با s یا es؟

به عنوان مثال:

God knows/know everything about you

یا

God helps/help you in your troubles

و یا

God helps/help

و اینکه در زبان انگلیسی اگر بخوایم برای God از ضمیر استفاده کنیم، از he استفاده میکنیم یا she یا it؟

Question 1:

'God knows everything' is correct. There is even an expression going'God only knows' which means 'I don't have a clue about this.' 

Aside from that check out this website which tells you the usage of 'God knows' with 1,170,000 against 'God know' with just 80,100 hits probably extracted from questions like 'Does God know everything'.

Both 'God help you' & 'God helps you' are correct with a bit of difference in meaning :). When people say 'God help you' what they mean is 'May God help you' it's in subjunctive mood. On the other hand, 'God helps you' simply means God does so; it's simple present.

Question 2:

Concerning your question on choosing the appropriate gender for God, you have to go back to religions (here we talk about Abrahamic ones) which dominantly favor associating masculinity to God. So 'he' is far more common a pronoun than 'she' to refer to God. Rarely do people use 'she' for reasons like 'gender inclusivity' or 'to be funny'. But one thing is for sure, NEVER USE 'IT' TO REFER TO GOD.

By the way, when referring to God by "He", it should always be capitalized, no matter where it is used in the sentence.

Thanks :-) About capitalizing the pronouns referring to God ppl seem to disagree. Some believe it shows reverence for God but let's face it what about those who don't think so :-)) Some grammarians believe deity pronouns shouldnt b treated differently.
