Yet can be used in the following ways:
1-as an adverb:
a- To ask if something expected has happened. It is usually placed at the end of the sentence or question:(بالاخره)
Are we there yet? (A typical question kids ask while taking car trips with their parents)
Is the report ready yet?
Has it stopped raining yet ?
بالاخره بارون بند اومد؟
b-To say that something expected hasn't happened:(هنوز، فعلاً هنوز)
Mary can't go home yet, she hasn't finished her work.
They haven't paid me yet. (I was expecting to paid before now.)
can we wait a few minutes? I don't want to go out yet.
میشه جند دقیقه صبر کنیم؟ فعلاً هنوز نمی خوام برم بیرون
he isn't here yet. He'll be here soon.
هنوز که/ فعلاً که اینجا نیست، بزودی میاد.
c-used after words referring to a period of time for saying how much time will pass before something happens or finishes (به مدت ، تا ، تا مدت)
The election won’t take place for three weeks yet.
Ron and Charlene will be in Florida for another six days yet.
he won't be back for a long time yet.
او تا مدت طولانی بر نخواهد گشت
2-as a conjunction (connecting two words, phrases, or clauses):(با این وجود، حتی، اما)
The weather was cold, yet bright and sunny.
Her advice seems strange, yet I believe she’s right.
a yet sadder tale.
yet I believe you'll do it.
