The discussion revolves around the full range of intangible assets (data, information, knowledge, intelligence) and includes some definitions of the original and more current views of intangibles. When discussing knowledge and knowledge management, in particular, the terms knowledge assets and intellectual capital (IC) are used somewhat interchangeably.
