give the green light to sth (INFORMAL green-light)
to give permission for someone to do something or for something to happen:

Hi there. I think that will work too, because in Farsi when we say for example دختره داره نخ میده means she's ready to have my number! Which means she's giving me the green light for starting a relationship.
